Unlike with traditional solvent based inks, the HP XP5100 will print widths up to 16 feet, all while using environmentally friendly UV based inks. CGS Imaging has expanded with the acquisition of a new 24,000 square foot facility located in Maumee, OH. Along with the move, CGS boosted its production capacity with the purchase of two additional HP/Scitex 5 meter printers. These additions have positioned CGS Imaging to have one of the largest production capacities in the Midwest.
CGS Imaging was contracted to produce a 560 foot long display for the pit road garage roof at Martinsville Speedway.
CGS Imaging was contracted to produce a mesh, wall banner paying tribute to the 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes at Compuware Corporation. As the series went to seven games, there was a small window of opportunity to produce the graphic and have it ready for installation at 5:30 a.m. the day following the team’s victory.
Richmond Motor Speedway hosted the Crown Royal 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race. CGS Imaging was contracted to install specialty signs throughout the facility for the race. One of the unique projects for this event was to install reflective digital imaging on the Bridge Tunnels at the facility, featuring UPS and veteran driver Dale Jarrett.
CGS Imaging was contracted to produce five, mesh graphics over six stories tall that were installed in downtown Detroit during the Super Bowl Festivities. The project posed a challenge as over 18,000 square feet of graphics were produced in only two days.
